I am saving up for some fuel management, but there is a good chance I will be on a base tune for a while after I get it...

your best option to get your car on somewhat of a decent tune? www.Phearable.net

you Email them what kind of setup/car you have, tell them your goals, and what you want the car to be tuned for (psi,injectors,etc)..you send them like 25$..they give you a basemap chip, and as long as your ecu has been socketed..just put it in,and your good to go.

theres a guy on these boards, used to have a LS-T civic coupe, car ran like shit without a tune..he put the chip in there..and at 12 psi, that car pulled hard like there was no tommorow.i think thats your best option right now until you can afford to get it tuned.

That is a terrible idea. I've seen a few cars that have gotten phearable basemaps and they ran like complete shit. I'm not trying to dog on phearable in any way though. They are what they are. Just basemaps. They may or they may not work on your setup. I'm sure the setup he tuned it on works fine, but when it comes to hondas for the most part no 2 setups are alike and they will almost always require very different maps. Going to them and getting the ecu chipped so he can have someone actually tune it wouldnt be a bad idea though.
