i work for a shop that does inspections and thats a big NO they HIDs will not pass inspection unless they come on the vehicle from the FACTORY so im sorry to burst your bubble but im sure if you put very low ones on im sure the inspector wont notice

I have my Hi/Low kit wired up as such:
Regular headlights (low) = stock output
Brights (high) = 8k HID's

Would work perfect for the inspection thing.
