CF hood
I see nothing wrong with it Brock, and when you get them on I want a phone call to come check them out.
If you want traction you pick up 15" V6'er wheels with MT's on them and call it a day.

I actually looked around at CF hoods awhile back when I had some hood scratches on my current hood.
For me, the small weight savings was definetly not worth the money for the aftermarket hood, that $ could go somewhere else that improves performance more significantly.
Just how I saw it...

These are the reasons why I didn't:
*Authentic FR500s only come in one size (18"x9").
*I couldn't justify the added weight of a wider wheel in the rear for what little traction I'd gain.
*The ability to rotate the tires was an added perk.
*If I ever need more traction, drag radials will give me all the traction I'd need on a 9" wheel.
That's why. You can all commence to calling me a pussy now.

I'd get a tubular K-member and save more weight and have better handling. So many better/worthwhile mods before changing the hood. If yours looked like ass it might be a different story. But a Mach 1 hood is already pretty awesome.
Not really, not many people around here have them at all and they still look badass. I was going to get some silver ones for mine, but I'm leaning heavily toward the GT500 rims now.
