Yeah, I'm pretty sure the SRT-4 is WAY more associated with idiots than a MKIV is. And mine was bonestock on the outside, sans chromed stock rims and the exhaust (well...and the FMIC...). The point isn't who's is flashier, the point is they will pull an import for exhaust everytime.

This is true. I guarantee my car is louder than 99% of the imports on this site and I've never been pulled once for my exhaust or asked about it once pulled over. I have been complimented for it though by numerous officer's.

not true. i had my WRX for awhile with no pulls for having an exhaust. maybe im just lucky and didnt have dick head cops around my area.

I must say, I have a SRT8 Magnum with a very loud aftermarket exhaust and 20" Wheels and RED Brembo brakes and drive it like I stole it, 13K miles and I am on my 2nd set of tires and I have never been pulled over(opps, 1 47 in a 35 ticket).. MY 240SX is near stock and I have been pulled over in it twice and I have driven it less than 5000 miles...

It is an import thing I think..
