Federal law enforcement(CIA, FBI, US Marshalls....etc) do not have authority to enforce state laws. The exception is the US Park Police who can do traffic enforcement and issue traffic tickets, but only in certain areas. For example on Rt. 29 or 234, where the roads go through the Battlefield.

As far as FFX CO undercover cars....they have quite a collection of various unmarked cars at the Sully District station.

My opinion on all of this, if you have to be sneaky to catch people, you suck at your job. People tend to get more scared when the see a light bar on the roof and a white crown vic. They don't ease off the gas or give a shit what there doing, especially when it looks like a regular black guys car(no offense)

I know that may be the case why they are doing it, but i think its petty and stupid that they have to use all of these undercover cars just to catch speeders and issue traffic violation tickets.

There is a cop who lives in my neighborhood who, no joke has a red 350 Z. He has been a cop for at least since i have been in VA (19 years) and he used to have a regular quad car. I thought this was weird so I went up to his car, and it has police car plates. They say like "Police Dept. " or something, but I thought that was crazy...especially because it has a turbo kit and like exhaust, typical tuner stuff...I don't know if this is a myth but aren't there some cops that go undercover and like try to get people to street race or drag from a stoplight then pull them over?

I'm pretty sure that Red turbo 350 is just a personal car Eric.
