I believe its an aftermarket sc, I bought it with it. I definately suggest it if you're thinking about, the power is there. I love it. Unless you love gas more, than it might not be too good of an idea.

what kind of gas mileage do you get? i read on the toyota site that the v6 and 2.7 both got 23 MPG stock

 

Maybe 12 mpg in the city. I get 215 miles to the tank driving on the highway.

 

a s/c is good but i got 33's on my truck and i only have the 2.7 stock and i get throught a lot of stuff no problem, i wouldnt think u need something like that until u go up to 38's or something like that

 

ya i havn't had any trouble getting through anything yet, just figured it would help out. and i'll be happy if i ever get 34's under the trcuk, much less 38's

how are snorkel kits for tacomas? i'm worried about hittin a hole too quick and gettin some water up in my engine bay, not to mention the alternator is on the bottom of the motor, completely exposed.... also, i need some new splash gaurds/ wheel wells (whatever you wanna call em) being that there arn't any in there. any recomendations?

Is this the real extreme one that everyone gets stuck at? I heard there was a real rough course somewhere in that area.
