I'd call that a down grade. Why trade for a slower car. I'd buy an NSX for the looks, not the performance. Those things move slower than jizz shooting out a turtle penis.

Right now HR to me is just a bunch of friends that meet up for dinner or Jenros every week.. Thats great and I like hanging out with everyone but if your not going to be a club that competes with TTAC or the Camaro club with people that want to get rid of the camaro for a car that looks good like a Honda!! I bought my 1st f-body back in 2000 and have been driving one ever since.. they are my fav cars and I will probably never not have one in my life.. Thats what you need if you want to have a club like TTAC and the camaro club in this area.. Hell TTAC is the longest running Trans am club in the country..
i just want to clarify that HRfbody is NOT a club. Just recently we started getting things together so that we can be recognized as a car club by CCCHR. Once everything goes through OK, then we will be a car club.

Up until now, we have only been a local website for the HR F-body community, and its been ok, like with the meets, no one really HAD to come, but if you just wanted to hang out, then awesome come along.

But anyways, once we become an official club, then we'll start planning events like TTAC and go thru with them. Hope you can be part of it, it would be awesome to have some people be dedicated to coming to these "started" events.

Dan, I'm glad I'm not you man. I couldn't stand being nice to someone just for the sake of attracting business.

Hey I'm not a admin so I can say it-
We did not want to become a club for a long time cause of the stigma that the 2 other Camaro clubs had. (one was like being at a AA meeting)
As for classifieds, I've been there from the start and still have my Iroc and added the 1LE.
For that matter, put up or shut up! What would you like to do? You have a ride or group idea? IF there is a lack of things we do it's cause there only a few people allways suggesting things and making them happen.

First, I said I make imports look bad because 99% of the imports I see out there are slower than me and if we race I'm going to win. But I wouldn't buy an NSX for speed necessarily. People don't buy all mercedes and porsches for the speed.

First (1/2), Lambo Diablos are imports too and I'd become a hitman to nab myself one of those.

Second, I agree, attracting business was the wrong choice of words. If you looked when I wrote that message I was just waking up.

And I'd rather HRFBody be just a place where f-body enthusiasts can just get together and chat about what's on their minds. I don't have the time or funds necessary to devote to an f-body club that has a mantra they recite every tuesday after they collect the common club dues. I know hrfbody.com is going the way of the club scene and that's awesome. It's great that hampton roads is getting a new f-body club put together. When I hear TTAC, it makes me think that camaro's aren't allowed. Well, then where do I go?

Cool.. I miss interperated ( spell check) your sig..

And I do agree with you on the HRF-body.. Its cool just having fun without having the Drama sometimes that clubs have.. But the only downfall is thats why some people dont show up for track meets and what not.. Also with a club you get great discounts on parts and labor at the dealership and certain car parts and perfomance shops in the area that sponsor a known car club!! TTAC is a trans am club but you are more then welcome to come to the meetings and the meets we have.. there are a bunch of camaro guys that usually come the the meets we have.. and there is also a Camaro car club in the area..
