Maybe the meets shouldn't be so close to a Wal-Mart. Inbreeding runs rampant there. The circus hangs out in the parking lots to scoop up some sideshow acts.

For anyone whos interested a few of us are meeting up for dinner this wed at 7 to discuss what happened, how to prevent it, and how we are going to move foward with future meets there.

Well that sucks. I cruise by that meet all the time when I go to see my girlfriend. I have stopped by once to look around at what cars were out (I was in the green GSX) and it looked like some nice cars. So the meets aren't cancelled, just the one this coming sunday? I figured some idiots would ruin the meets, looked like the crowds were starting to get pretty large. Reminds me how the old cruise-in's at the target off midlothian got cancelled due to some idiots ruining it for everyone, and that was a nice spot to see some really nice old/new cars.

 

not all with how people acts tho... what about all the dumasses that haul ass threw the parking lot? i go every now and then and i see people everywhere and i also see little kids and pets.. what if one of the idiots was to hit a kid or somtheing?? then i think the cops will shut it down all together.. that should be another subject to talk about...

 

I might get flames for this, but fuck it, it's true.

This shit seems to be native to import meets.... Never seen drama like this at any F-body meets.

 

For younger crowds, the stereotype is of an import crowd interested in speed and showing off flashy accessories that is much younger than a domestic car crowd who may be more about actual power and are out there because they want to meet up and talk about cars. Older people with imports will most likely have well maintained cars without the F&F look.

It takes money to actually go fast than to just sound fast. Need to attract the more mature crowd with good jobs and can afford an entry fee, pay for dinner at the restaraunt, and have something to lose with a reckless driving charge. As harsh as it sounds, the kids that live at home and are just out doing crop dusting fly-bys with their biplane wings need to be weeded out to get/maintain the actual car enthusiasts.
