No, there is a chance the snake will crawl into the boat for the frogs. There's also a chance the snake will drop into the boat from a tree limb above the boat. I have shot one off the side once and had my dad put three holes into the bottom of a boat once because he's a pussy when it comes to snakes and freaks out. I'll normally just catch it and throw it overboard or cut it in half, depends on what it is.

There's a 100% chance of seeing a snake. They won't bother you, they're just hungry usually or trying to get away from you. I don't miss, and even if I did, your still only have a 50/50 chance so your math is skewed. Plus, women don't frog gig.
