Its overkill for anything that doesn't pop it.. Your stock head gasket should do up to about 350ft/lbs of torque... Its just not smart to replace good components..
Enthalpy tune and GT28 of any flavor and you have reliability..

I use an SAFC on top of my Enthalpy tune, but mainly for the Dec air fuction. I think the ECU tune alone would make close to the same power I make now..
You shouldn't get an SAFC without getting a wideband, so you are back to $400+ which is almost the same cost as the Enthalpy tune.

Power and reliability go hand-in-hand..
You should read on tuning a little. It will make decisions like this much easier.. I can't possibly post every answer in one post nor can I post everything you need to know.
Besides that, its not always the best idea to just listen to someone else the whole time...
