no one acted crazy last time. they said we had too many people to be in the lot and did not request use for our group. it had nothing to do with acting crazy.
I think there should be a BBQ. Back when meets were big, we used to do BBQs. the old USpeed meets/BBQs were awesome, because people actually planned a nice event. not just a hey, lets meet up and take pics event.

you're right. we were kindly asked to leave by the police who were asked to come out to the park by the park attendants...

 

we stayed there when everybody else left..no one else told us to leave...!

 

how many people was that? 50+? the reason they let a handful stay was because it wasnt an issue for a small group to meet there, but it was an issue for a group of 20 or more to meet there. you cannot appropriate a public spot for a city's minority without proper permission. this is why we dont go to public spots like the chesapeake park unless we have permission.

you want to use it and have no issue? get a rough head count and written permission to use a certain part of the park. then this is just a moot point. until then, its just a headache for everyone when the day comes.
