Three Norfolk men are in police custody after attempting to break into a Virginia Beach home.

Early Wednesday morning the homeowner heard the sound of glass shattering and called the police.

Police charged Cornelius Burney II, Venject Billups, and Anthony L. Owens with attempted breaking and entering while armed, conspiracy to commit a felony, and possession of burglary tools.

All three are being held without bond.
