Is the motor in a situation where we could put some oil in it and fire the starter to do a cold compression test on it? I have a customer that may be interested.
i would say sure but there is no tranny so fireing the starter up would be kind of hard when its not bolted to anything. but we can allways put oil in and spin around to tdc and do a cylinder leak down test. thats more accurate anyways
good point. im open to whatever, it just helps to have had the motor going over a few times first to get oil everywhere(rings) so you get an accurate reading. but yea your right with no trans no place to mount starter makes that a bit tough.
