Example: buy a TT RX-7 with a blown motor for between $6-$9K and rebuild it with the best of everything

if he wants the car with the most potential performance wise id say: for the track/autox---> rx7, s2000, or boxster and for straightline---->supra, evo or sti. based on the cars u listed him drivin before (del sol and miata) it seems like he's more interested in turns than straight line so outta the 3 cars i listed, the boxster is too expensive to mod/repair, the rx7 is unreliable modded too heavily (unless ur knowledge of rotaries is sufficient) so that leaves the s2000 imho
