A lot of the cars in the area (or on the forum in general) that mommy and daddy bought, regardless of who does and does not admit to it... I think it's generally pretty obvious, although that's not always the case. I'm not speaking of anyone in general.
Yep, I'm one of them. My dad gave me his 1994 Toyota T100 in 2001. He purchased it brand new and then gave it to me when he decided to buy a new truck. After a year or so, I decided to sell it. With the money I received, I purchased my FD. My dad then bailed me out when it blew up. He paid for half of the rebuild. My dad helped me a lot until I was 18. And hell, I've worked since I was 15. Cars are just expensive. I've wasted a shitload of money.
However, I hardly see how that compares to a lot of kids these days.

I don't see what the big deal is. Just because someone's parents makes enough money to buy their kid a car, everyone hates on them? I draw the line at new luxury cars or really fast cars, but otherwise, I see nothing wrong. I'm not saying the kid shouldn't be working though. I hate when people say shit to kids who have their parents buy their car... It's just jealousy and ignorance.
no i just hate when ppl who have expensive mommy bought cars hate on honda guys who worked their ass off to have what they do. But i guess that will always be a issue in the car scene
