DC2 USDM front end Vs. DC2 JDM front end
In Japan, the JDM front end which you guys are talking about came from the factory of Japan starting 1997. 1994-1996 had the 4 eyes front end. In 98 Type Rs and up, the JDM housing lights came with factory HIDs (with proper HID lense) very similiar to the S2000 beam cut, basically you're just getting what it's supposed to be from Japan, USDM front ends are basically old style from back in 94-96 from Japan.
I had a 2000 Integra Type R with OEM JDM 98 Spec Front End, it was awesome. And I cannot emphasize how much better it is to actually get the 98 Spec Version that came with the HID Housing (built for HIDs) vs the non HID version.
Here's a video with my car in it. (Mine is the JDM version) my friends was the USDM version.

i am about to aquire a JDM front 2000 dc2. it has non HID headlights right now but i wanted to go the HID route. I was wondering how it would look with just a regualr 9006 HID kit on the non hid housings. I guess i will just have to save up and get some real deal projectors.
the JDM non HID housing with HIDs will pretty much have the same lighting output as the USDM projectors, you don't get the nice clean cut like you see on the S2000, with the HID Housing 98 spec, you will.
