Ok, here goes a stab......

Provided the price range you gave is accurate enough, assuming you are attempting to add more power/torque to the car and based on the the little bit of intelligence I have gathered so far......

1) AA Supercharger - There is a huge group buy on Bimmerforums.com right now. Hell, I would get in on it since the price is GREAT, but my mod funds (at least big mod funds) are tapped out for now....

2) Schrick Cams - The price range doesn't really fit but when you take into account labor, and all of the other stuff you SHOULD replace when you have the engine apart for the install, it can get up into that price range.

3) Tec 3 Engine Management System - Again, price range doesn't really add up, but when you take into account the dyno time involved to tune the car and the install (since I know you are not good with electronic stuff Jerry !!) the price could get up there.

4) New M3 Engine - Since I know your engine is getting up in age/miles and it was probably ridden pretty hard by previous owners, you may have sourced a new one (cheap of course). Of course, it would most likely be a 3.2L motor with other goodies on it (port & polish, OBDI conversion, etc.) including the one mentioned in item 2 above.

Thats it for now, but I have some other intelligence leads to follow through on. I can't give away everything I may know just yet !!! So Jerry, am I close ?
