I guess we have a slew of people on here that can't wait for the 3rd term of Bush politics if the Republicans win.

I wanted to go up there, but I ended up calling it an early night...

He definitely is a great speaker and to me seems to have more integrity than any of the other presidential hopefuls. I couldn't see Hilary or McCain running this country. Unfortunately, too much of this country is blinded by color and doesn't actually hear/comprehend the words that come out of his mouth.

 

Eh. I think he's hiding something. He's a little sketchy.

And for all the Ron Paul supporters- How about instead of wasting your vote on a bag full of super-duper happy rainbows and impossible promises you actually take a look at some of the cantidates who actually have a shot and pick the least horrible choice like the rest of us?

 

Actually, no. It has nothing to do with his color or political party as to why people that speak out about him, don't like him.

You say he has integrity, yet he doesn't even place his hand over his heart during the National Anthem? I mean, we live in a country where we have the freedom to choose if you want to do that, but the fact that he doesn't and is running for the highest political office is enough reason for me to raise an eyebrow.

Obama is a great speaker, but he has very little actual experience, plus read up on his positions on the issues that are important to you.

My GF is getting a masters in government at Regent at the moment, so she does a good job of exucating me and keeping me informed.

Sad, but this is just one big popularity contest... the voting masses know little about actual positions. People will vote Hillary because she's a woman, people will vote for Obama because he's black, and they'll vote for a republican candidate because they don't want a liberal.

 

I hate politics.

Think about it... If everyone says, "gee, I have to vote for Osama or Hitlary because if I don't my vote is wasted" then ultimately the vote was wasted anyways. You should vote for what YOU want in a president, not who you think is going to win.
