However, you did say "your an idoit." Your is a possessive; it expresses ownership. And I doubt that Mr. blah owns an "an idoit." I believe you were looking for "you're," the contraction of the words "you" and "are."
One means "The idoit that you own," while the other means "You are an idoit."
