maaco paint job?
I went to get a quote for my car and there was people going in there wanting to get the 200 dollar paint job but nothing else. The 200 dollar paint job I believe is only a single stage job which means that they mix the paint and the clear together and spray it on your car. You do have to pay extra for your car to get sanded and prepped for paint. And another thing is as with any paint job it depends on how you take care of the car, for example washing and waxing it regularly I would say atleast wax your car every three months or so. I do mine more regularly but thats just me

oh yeah my friend went there for his teg and it came out like ass...he wanted granada black pearl and it looked brown in the sunlight...
I use to work at a maaco in Frederick Md u get what u pay for and if that. Some times it can turn out decent then it could look like ass. I never painted I sanded the cars down and took off parts and put them back on. I wouldnt want anybody do any bodywork on my car that worked at maaco. U might get somebody that knows what they are doin but a lot of them really don't. If you want you car in and out quick or u just got a car that has a shitty paint job and u want it painted to sell it and make a couple of dollars then i perfer macco.
its simple. Make sure you do your own body work before you go. And I would throw a coat of primer too. Then if you want any shot of getting a good paint job, make sure you get the polyurethene supreme. Its flex paint so it doesn't crack. Don't ever get the low grade. Its shit
I know this thread is from 08. But I wanna know if anyone has any recent experience with Macco. I'm flirting with the idea of getting my Celica painted. Don't wanna spend more than $1500. So I'm not looking at that $200/special, want something nicer.
