Bike Night @ Lonestar on Broad...
I went but I dont think imma go out there anymore. I just wanna ride, met up with some people but everyone always wants to ride, then stop, then ride, then stop every 10mins.
I rode up there with my buddy with a R6 and a orange 600rr, Met up with a couple people up there with gixxers and all newer bikes. Rode downtown and stopped and rode and stopped. then I rolled out. I wanted to ride, not drink then ride like alot of the people up there. But lonestar was ok. I dunno guess its not my cup of tea.

At first when I heard about it I honestly thought it would be stupid and didn't go at first, but I actually think its great now. Considering all of the great Richmond bike meet spots of the past have either become illegal or just faded this is one of the very few places for lots of Richmond riders to get together.
You can't go up there really and expect it to be a "ride" like you would expect on a Sunday morning meet, I don't go on actual rides at night anyways anymore, too dangerous. If I'm on the bike at night its to be social which means way more stopping and talking than actual riding, so thats just kind of the nature of that kind of meet, instead you could use it to meet people and set up to do real riding at a later time. But I know there are at least two or three groups of guys that don't drink and ride and are responsible but fast that usually do a mini ride before or sometimes after the Lonestar meet since they come from a little further out, they'll make a small trip of it and I know they don't tolerate stopping at every other gas station like you were talking about, so theres people to hook up with if you want to ride.

+1. It's just a meetup night. I hate riding at night now. I think it's awesome that Richmond has this going on and that it's legal. Now if the rain would ever stop.....
