my dude gives 100 bucks for the import cats and less for domestics. those Sti cats are worth 150.

 

The cat business is pretty much a pyramid scheme. Shady nonetheless.

 

from what i've been told STOCK cats from imports contain more platinum than most domestics and those in suvs and trucks contain more than in small sedans which makes sense b/c most of the time they are larger ... the guy that comes around our impound yard gives us around $40-$60 each , $5 for batteries, $10 for alternators and starters, and about $1/1lb for aluminum which are mostly wheels radiators some driveshafts and some tranny housings
