who buys a convertable to put a hard top on it? defeats the purpose of buy a vert eh? i can maybe understand if we had harsh winters but we dont so its kind of pointless (atleast in my eyes). people complain about tops ripping and most of the time its b\c they dont condition the top. water and soap do not protect your top from UV rays. if its not conditioned every 2-3 weeks it makes the top more brittle and prone to damage. as far as frames causing damage, theres a few easy solutions for it that take less than 5 minutes to do.

atleast if you're going to run a hardtop, take the soft top out but keep it anyways. thats a whole headache in its own right but its still nice to have the option around.

Not from the inside, OEM is the only one with a headliner

If you look at the definition of a roadster, you are supposed to always be exposed to the elements, so not having the top would fit better.

Someone who wants an S2000 but doesn't want a convertable?

It isn't like a Mustang / Corvette / 350Z where both models are available.

So you bought the S2000 just because it's a convertable? I know I didn't. I bought it for overall styling and how fun it is to drive. The hardtop just makes the car look more aggresive to me. To each their own though.

The only cool thing about the Cr is the black emblems. Thats it.

lol

We only make around 200 whp from the factory. What are you comparing it to that makes it slow? I bet it's not slow aginst cars in it's own class.
