The padded envelope is a good idea, never thought of that. Looks like I'll be dropping by the post office on my way home tonight.

lol...and i looked up the law it is illegal to have them even in the car. off or on. plugged in or not.

Radar detectors are not illegal to own or posses but illegal to operate. If a cop tryed to give me a ticket for one in my trunk i whould fight it and win...

i use the sti driver hardwired in and mounted to the headliner, i have been searched one time. The cop grabbed it dident realize what it was and continued with his search so im not ever really worried about a ticket now.

I just have Bel STI that has Spectre protection....I guess I just am that good.
