It sounds like you have a bad apex seal which anyone who knows about rotarys is that they go bad, but the fun part is rebuilding it. good luck
That's complete bullshit, and I wish guys like this who don't know squat about Rotaries would just STFU....
What you need is a coolant seal. MUCH better than an Apex seal, because apex seals tend to screw shit up when they go bad. Not hard to replace if you know your way around a motor, the hard part is getting everything to work just as well (or is most cases) better than before. Again, not such a problem if you're used to working on engines.
G/L with the sale, but If I were you, I'd get that coolant seal replaced and keep it.
