this is a car forum. i dont need any help getting out of the tickets, i can do that on my own. i just know that a lot of people have gone through this...

really though...why bother asking anyone here? If you don't need help getting out of the ticket(s) then you don't need help finding the law that says the legal heights...and you also don't help finding where to measure from. You're contradicting yourself with that one....

Shit is true imo, my dad got pulled over by a state trooper last year toward the end of the month going 8 over. My dad has had a clean record in va for 20+ years and still got the ticket, cop straight just asked for license and went back to car and wrote the ticket. Then no more than 1 mile down another state trooper was pulling 2 cars at the same time that were traveling in our car group.
Always be cautious especially toward the end of the months.

some just want a reason to pull you over. I've been tailgated several times by them, out of no where, they come flying out and pull up on me... drive up next to me to look inside, and hang back to get run my tags...
it's like... they sat at a red light, blipped their lights on to run it to tail gate me and run my shit? I made a left turn for crying out loud. leave me alone! =[

Since your question has already been answered, I might throw in my 2 cents.
Legal Advice:
Since it is a fix it ticket, just replace or do what ever it is that you do to show the judge that you fixed it, and get it dismissed. Don't bother trying to prove that the cop was an asshole, just get the ticket dismissed, and be on your merry way, because by some chance the cop can prove that he measured from the right place or was in the right, you are the only one that comes out looking like a ass, not the cop.
I understand that you may feel as if you have been sterotyped, but with good reason. It's not the moms in the minivans that street race, and about the cops tailgating to run your plates, since so many hondas get stolen, Im ok with having the cops check my plates to see that it is not stolen.
Thats just my 2 cents, not trying to sound like a ass, or a e-thug.
