Im by far not the most qualified guy to be talking about this but being an aircraft mechanic in the marines i've seen some pretty cool aircraft that come stop by the base to fuel up etc..

also being from nova (which is so close to DC) i know their are all sorts of military aircraft that are not known to the public which are still in testing or are just not ready to be broadcasted. A lot of which fly out of Andrews Airforce base etc. Also with experimenting with hydro propulsion and other such methods, anything is possible.

You definitly would not see any kind of exhuast gas esp. at night. Even during the day jets like the harrier etc you hardly ever see exhuast.

I'm not a disbeliever to other life forms, im sure they exist, I just think their are other explanations to explain that.

Modern aircraft can be very quiet, and also quite difficult to see at night, and that is just the ones that we know about. However, I don't think the government is testing experimental craft over populated areas. There are much better facilities, that are nice and remote for this kind of thing. I don't pretend to know what you have seen, it could be anything from a flare born optical illusion, or an honest to god aircraft of unknown configuration. I will say that I have seen some weird shit in my adventures, some of it being of the optical illusion veriaty, and some of it being in the decidedly "other" category.

 

I get what you're saying, like how gov'ts have all these "secret aircrafts" that WE don't know about, and I believe that. But do they seriously have anything that goes that fast, I mean something that is like out of this world. 'Cuz the thing that I saw, the speed and how fast it took of was just ridiculous.....
