Tein Flex's are terrible to anyone who has had something other than Tein Flex's. (Or SS?)

If you have only had experience with one of the listed setups, how are you supposed to justify why what you had is the best choice?

Tein = $900?
EDFC= $300

900+300= 1200

Bilstein, Buddy club, ect= About $1200= Much higher quality setup

EDIT: After looking at the prices on google, the Tein flex is coming up in the $1500-2000 range....,
OP- Are you getting the SS and Flex systems backwards? I know that the lower end system of the two is hated on by many. It seems the SS is the $900 range system.

They were SS with pillowball uppermount. Also, please go back and read my post again and quote where I said it was the best setup....please. "I" not "you"...I enjoyed that setup. If you don't like it, whoopdie fucking doo don't put it on your car. He asked which one.....since I don't have experience with any of the others (excect Bilstein shocks on my car), I posted a comment on the ones I do have experience with.

kthnx

EDIT: Bilstein, Buddy club, ect was not a choice.

Since they are such a new product, I havn't heard many reviews from people who have really used them for an extended period of time. I am pretty sure they are in his price range though.

Fortune claims them to have an oversized piston and decent valving.

And since you put a question mark next to $900 I'll go ahead and post this:

And I am sorry I was wrong about the $300:

Please go back and quote where I said that you siad they were the best.

And just becuase new options are popping up in his thread but are not in his poll, it's probably becuase he didn't think or know of thiem at the time. Thankfully, this is a discussion, and we can make new suggestions.

If you had the lower end Tein system and you enjoyed them, then great. But for people who have had them and then used another system, they always prefer the latter. So, in this discussion thread, I am trying to keep him from making the mistake of buying a shit system that will crap out on him in the first year or two just becuase he didn't know of another system.

Check out what race cars run.
Then find their street version.
Fast cars don't run shitty products.

Koni/Ground Control due to the simplicity and back to back to back successful setups.
I've driven many a cars with off the shelf Koni/GC setups and they all rode very nicely and handled great.
I've personally had a tokiko illumina/GC and I loved it. My next setup is gonna be Koni/GCs.

Tein Basics is what people call JUNK. It's no better than a Omni coilover.

I say none of the above. I like Stance or Koni struts with quality springs, Fortune Auto seems to be building a good reputation so i think they are worth trying.
