Can a get a reliable/good condition Civic for $4000?

B... i'd highly recommend craigslist. its a good place to find a steal and people are throwing away cars cheap now days! IDK if you can get an 01+ civic in that price range, but you can get something decent and that runs strong (honda toyota wise) in that price range.
My sister has owned a 2005 Hyundai Elantra since 2004. It has 80k on it now. The only problem she has ever had with it was the thermastat went bad. It is a great car, gets great gas mileage and is very dependable. They dont look half bad and are farely comfy on trips from texas to va.. dont ask how I know that.....
But you can pick one up for under 4g's. You just have to look.

Can't really go wrong with 92-00 Civics reliability wise, Accords are in the same vein as far as i know.
Check craigslist OFTEN. Sometimes great stock specimens pop up, but they don't last long.
