I'm sayin IN MY OPINION, if you're running slicks, race gas and stripped interior to get your 9-10sec timeslip, don't claim you have a 9-10 sec "street car/daily driver" unless you actually drive around like that on a regular basis which I highly doubt.

Maybe I should have left the nitrious part out.

You dont need an interior to be "daily driven", you can daily drive a car with slicks.. you can daily drive alot of things...

How about we see who is the fastest and who ACTUALLY drives their car to and from work and out to get food ect... not just a weekend fun car

You CAN drive a car daily with no interior with slicks, but who does?

Drivin the car to and from the track on the weekends doesn't necessarily make it a daily driven street car, so I agree with your idea of a street car/daily driver.

It seems pretty clear to me, too. What's all the fuss about?

The fuss is I posted earlier that a daily driven street car isn't running slicks, race gas, or a stripped interior. A few people think I'm retarded for posting it, but that's my opinion of a daily driven street car. Yes you COULD drive around on the street like that, but good luck finding people that do it on a daily basis, hence the term daily driver.

There is someone on this board that has an escort gt that was completely daily driven and the only interior that it had was two seats, and a dashboard. He also had a festiva that I think only had two seats. He drove both of those cars everyday. So I think the interior thing is an option that you have and you can decide if you want it or not.

Yes I see how the interior thing could be an option just like AC is, but the guy you know would be one of the few exceptions. Drag slicks in anything other than perfect weather is a safety issue on the street and few will pay 5 bucks a gallon for race gas on their daily driver.

We can post all day long about he or she "knows a guy", but reality is very very few actually drive around daily in race trim because it's a safety issue, too expensive, or both.
