Actually i like GTP`s I bought one for my family car when I started having kids. I miss it (had more kids needed SUV) nice car with just enough pep to get out of its own way and ahead of your average Ricer.

Disclaimer: my definetion of Ricer- beat up lowered fart caned domestic or import, w\ aluminum unpainted chicken wings and unpainted body kits.... Not people who have legitamite non-riced out imports.

Was she in the lane that got oiled down early on in the night?!?!? If so, I'd imagine that lane would have been just a touch squirrely.....

 

The right lane was having some issues at times. For a auto Z I don't think 14.2@97 is too bad. Thats right there with a 4.6 auto if I am not mistaken. She took out a Z28 by going within .02 of her dialin during the first round of eliminations and took out a different car the next round. Talking with her she said it was her second time being at the track with it. Guess Allmod is John Force Jr. Come to think about it only Mod Motor that was impressive that night was the red one that had a set of big ol lumpy cams in it. The Cobra that broke it's transmission looked good it went snap

 

First pass wasnt too bad. 13.1 @ 106 w/o 3rd gear. 1-2-4 baby! Second pass go boom. Dont worry though. The TKO is going in and the car will be back to the track before the end of the season. I heard that MIR will be running through Nov (thanksgiving weekend) to make up for some rain dates.

she had a couple runs where the Z got away from her. she was in that right lane, a few hundred feet down the track i think when she fishtailed. probably had a lot to do with the oil. but she did pull down some good times on most of her runs.
