sr parts are plentiful now. ka parts you can get at any local nissan dealer. only bad thing about a ka-t is the pistons. you really dont want to boost more than 10 psi on them. wiseco makes pistons to fit the ka that will handle alot more boost. also if you turbo the 2.4, its a real good idea to do a new timing chain. if theres alot of miles on the ka chain and guides, it will break under good boost. and when that happens on a nissan, its usually the death of the motor
8-10psi is fun for a daily tho.
KA24de-T, has good support. Buy three spare motors and a turbo kit and go to town.
SR has the best. Most parts, but they don't come cheap but insanely easy to find.
I want a VQ but they are bitches to wire, so until that shizz is plug and play, I am going to play with SOHC ka's and z24's personally, due to cheapness of motors.
