so basically, there aren't many people using custom parts (i.e. manifolds and shit), which is why they arent making the power....makes perfect sense....

exactly... i mean look at how tight the engine bay is in these cars... turbo sits on the back side... refer back to the picture of the stock turbo next to my t3t04e ... now imagine trying to come up with somthing to make that thing fit between the exhaust manifold and fire wall... did i have to smash in the fire wall??? no not much

 

i'm gonna try to keep up with you guys N/A without touching my heads cams or internals. torque, i got you all beat!! haha but my hp #'s are still low, as 4.6's are low compression motors that dont make a whole lot of power. especially the 96-98 motor, wich i have. 181 to the wheels stock i believe.

 

thats exactly what i put down. 181. w/out touching any internals. I wanna get 235whp n/a. thats my goal.

 

Maybe next time I will bring mine out. I have a couple mods on the way. My last TQ rating was 150. Maybe we can have a 2.0/NA/TQ contest. I hope to be over 200whp next time and even better tq.

ya, this summer once my car isnt my daily driver and i get a few things i want to get done done i'd like to compare are motors on the dyno. (im waiting on a job) lol

 

There's no doubt in my mind that VEs are very capable little engines. To confidently say that he's got an N/A 4 banger nissan motor thats gonna make 210 plus at the wheels is saying alot though, even for a VE.

 

we have a ka at the shop that does 240 to the wheels. I need to put one of them in a pickup
