Anyone know anybody that is hiring?
Vincent: Oh, fuck. What'cha gonna do, man?
Jules: Well, that's what I've been sitting here contemplating. First, I'm going to deliver this case to Marcellus, then, basically, I'm just going to walk the Earth.
Vincent: What'cha mean, "walk the earth"?
Jules: You know, like Caine in Kung Fu, walk from place to place, meet people, get into adventures.
Vincent: And how long do you intend to walk the earth?
Jules: Until God puts me where he wants me to be.
Vincent: And what if he don't do that?
Jules: If it takes forever, then I'll walk forever.
Vincent: So you decided to be a bum?
Jules: I'll just be Jules, Vincent – no more, no less.
Sorry, don't know of any graphic design positions right now. Good luck.

Nope. Nothing against insurance companies or anything but Geico doesn't pay shit. When I first put my resume on careerbuilder.com I was getting two and three calls a week from people wanting me to work for Geico. Best I got offered was $8.50 an hour.
But, if all else fails, I may have to take them up on it. I'm not trying say "I'm too good to work a job like that" or anything. I just want to make sure I go through all my other possibilities before taking a lesser job.
In the process of starting my business now. Hope to have it up and running Sept. 1. Hopefully that will bring a little cash flow in.

I made good money with GEICO right out of college and profit sharing was fantastic. That said, if you choose to relocate I know the owner of Minuteman Press here in Norfolk. Even if you don't want to relocate I cuold send you his info and you could call him and it's at least be a network contact. PM me if you want it.

My fiance works for them right now and is in the training stage and is getting paid $14.50 an hour...and when she becomes a "standard" employee and not a trainee her pay will go up. ....she is doing claims
Damn. They weren't offering me anything like that. I may have to check them out...
Found a couple at Geico. Both were as a legal secretary. Not sure I'd be qualified for that, but I applied anyways. Guess we'll see...
