Did you talk to Mo about the LA3? I remember I asked him and he said he wasnt too fond of the performance gains, I have a big vam on the small vam cpu and I honestly felt a difference with out driveability issues.


Not stock, I see how you can say the parts are hard to find, but please if you ever find a rare car, dont butcher it, you can always find parts from wrecked cars if you look, rather than destroying another car to just make a buck. I bet he could make a hell of alot mroe just selling as is than the trouble of cutting it up and dealing with ebay people bidding and then shipping it all out.

Nic, I know where 5 are in one junkyard if you do ever need parts, its my own secret stash, the owner of it is a friends neighbor and I talked to him about them and he has always been very "leniant" with the prices of parts...



And to add I had a bright array of sunshine about 10 minutes ago, I finally got a guy in maryland to respond to email's and he has a merkur for me up there, he wants some moeny if I want a title but no money if I just want it as parts. So does anyone know what do about if I want to just go get it, and then come down ehre and apply for a "lost title" or whatever?

If one of yall want to come get this body when I'm done with it, haul it off and it's yours, I just need the parts for the conversion and I'm taking the wheels because I kind of like them in all their ugliness. I have a title Kevin has first dibs though.

Also, if any of yall know of a 4 cyl/5 speed fox body for sale for a cheap price, let me know. I don't really want to go through all the trouble of doing a 5 speed swap on this hatchback I've got.

Get the car, put it in your yard. Go to DMV and report it abandoned and tell them that you want a title. I think it's like a 60 day wait, after 60 days they list it as claimed property that was abandoned, and title it to you.
