i was scammed by SPOOLEDEX with my car and these transmissions, the guy at the body shop told me that my car WOULD NOT have been totaled out if the bumper support wasnt removed. AND THANKS to this fuck my car is totaled out and he has something coming to him thanks to the sheriffs department!!!!

Yeah I think I gave him that tranny and it was a si tranny, are you sure you got the right numbers. I got it out of a wrecked car and it was a 94 si. late

 

Im kinda lost, but what exactly is a D series si tranny?? Im not really an expert on Civics or anything? and I know that a civic Si has the b16.... so what does the d series have to do with things?

best thing to do right now is make a deal (keep it between the two of you if need be). but just try to make both people a little satisfied

 

but when both owners are unaware of the merchandise they are selling and if no where was it stated "sold as is," responsibility can still be placed on the seller.

There's EF SI trannies, I think they are the same as the CRX SI trannies(from D16a6, I think?).

And then there's the tranny that's being talked on this thread, if it's from a 94 SI, that'd be the D16z6 tranny. Same as the 5th gen EX tranny.

Then there's the 96-00 EX tranny, from the D16y8. Same gearing as the D16z6, but Honda changed the shift fork and I think something else to make it a tad bit better. I bought one of these used, from a guy in Arizona, and when I installed it, howled... :thumbsdown: Replaced all the bearings, spent $$$ tryin to fix it. Anyways that car has been sold(yep, the new owner knows about it, can't miss the howling noise).
