yo 2EZ2SEE I just thought of something.
I don't know exactly what kinds of problems you were having before you changed the alternator, but last year had a problem like this too. Mine would not hold idle, so after I took my foot of the gas it would sputter and die. Since this was right after hall f'ed me I was reluctant to go to the mechanic so I tried to diagnose and fix it myself. I did a once over of some of the basics and noticed that my positive battery connection had a lot of corrosion on it. After cleaning it off I also noticed that it was barely connecting, turns out this was the source of my problem and it was causing all sorts of electrical and idle problems. For some reason my car is very suseptible (sp?) to its battery connection, and when it was not connecting right it behaved as if the ecu was broken.
Long story short I went to Autozone and bought a gold plated battery connection, wired it to my battery, and now it connects perfectly. Doing that solved all of my problems. Sometime it is the simplest things. I am not saying that this is the source of your problem, but it might be worth a look. Also you might want to check and see if there are any leaks in your IC pipes. Just trying to help. Good luck man. I feel your pain.
