Also. cops have detection systems for radar detectors. there pull you over no matter if you going 180 or 75 with a radar dectector

I can see a vr-4 going 160 but 180 is sorta out there. Unless it has single turbo upgrade with 450whp.

I have done dumb shit as well. I have blown redlights racing at speeds over 60 mph, have taken my 99 Cobra past 160, burried the speedo on my Ninja on I95.

As foir me blowing that redlihgt, it was in downtown San Antonio. You can't weigh what's worse or not. It's dangerous no matter what because it's a machine and you are not in control of it, nor the surroundings.

it's called 'VG2'. it's basically a radar detector- detector. if you spend the money you can get one with the capability to pick up on this and avoid most tickets

arrestafield does not have vg2, i've yet to see henrico with them, the state porkers however DO have them...



and to the comment about 20-30 over:
you will not decrease your speed enough to remain legal, but you can damn sure lessen the ticket speed. true RADAR is easy to duck under, it only reads head on (what's coming towards you), so if your perp. to the radar you're cool. you have to be within like 100yrds for the radar to get an actual READ of your speed, but a good radar detector will pick up on the signal well before this, giving enough time to decrease your speed... hopefully back down to legal limits.(but the catch here is that the newer radar guns/signals have a hold button, which makes them way more effective... they give the officer the ability to wait till the last minute to pop ya) Lazer however is a whole 'nother story. there's no ducking that... it hits you because it's supposed to hit you, there are no 'bouncing' rays of any kind to detect. if ur hit, you're fucked!
