BTW... you don't want to "strip" the paint off a replacement car. Paint is the perfect primer. They'll sand it for traction and paint. Now if it's some super different color they'll need to prime it for coverage.

as far as that goes with cobra saying that the topcoat is only as good as the ground coat. if you know you prepped it and its nice from the bottom, then i would go stripping it. but if you dont know the guy that prepped it then your paint is more that likely going to strip right off. and nate had a good saying why not sealing it. sealing is pretty much the way to go. sealing isn't hard and it helps hide some scratches and lets the paint adhere better. alright
