if it was a lower mileage S2k and newer I would have sucked it up and had SOM do it, but it's a 15 year old car, that's like the civic kids putting 2,000 dollar BBS's on Ef hatches

Fuck it, roll it. It's like $150-200 bucks and that's really splurging on supplies and materials. If it turns out like shit then bring it somewhere, but from a risk vs reward standpoint its worth it to at least try it and see how it turns out.

the car is already at the shop, they are putting it on the frame machine to pull the front end a little more, then on to the booth, they just gave me the update this afternoon

the car is supposed to be done something this week, HOPEFULLY every week I call to ask about it the answer is " its in progress"

yep, glass out, fenders/ bumpers/etc off, brand new headlights and tail lights, head light support brackets, hard top, spare trunk, two hoods and aftermarket spoiler

Looking forward to seeing it. Used to live right around the corner from them so I've limped some cars up there for service over the years and they've always treated me well.
