Who are you guys?
ya... I would of loved to join you all at MIR...
maybe next time I wont get lost following some dude in a truck...
But ya, I followed everyone from the expo center, didnt really talk to anyone since I was almost clueless about what was goin on. I drove the audi, and had the bleached hair(attempt at dying my hair gone wrong an hour before).
maybe next time tho...

Hmm.. anyone know why NHRA drag cars are RWD? Guess where the weight goes when you step on the gas. There's a big difference between fwd and rwd/awd on a track, it's 99% due to the car (obviously, rwd cars had the same grip available on the track that night too ya know.)
I didn't even run because I knew I'd suck so bad (then again I haven't driven my car for 2 months anyways) if you get bad times its probably because of experience too.
OK I'm out, peace.
PS: We should have an event down there when it's warmer.

Whatever David, I just said I would suck at it for a couple reasons - this isn't about drivers, I'm just saying FWD sucks for launching (unless you go extreme and get drag radials and shit like the inline pro cars have to use.)
PLEASE don't flame me for this, it's basic physics (ie. a fact.) When you step on the gas, weight moves to the rear of the car (and OFF the front.)
There were a number of cars that ran extremily fast times that night, blame it on anything you want. I'm sure MIR has no idea what they are doing, they only do it every Friday night and all.
They post the times for qualifying on the MIR website, of the 24 cars they posted (granted they were competetion cars) only 2 of them went over 12 seconds.
Your tires were probably too cold, combined w/ regular fwd issues (I don't remember you burning out.)

my friend did burn out on his street tires..he said the track was real cold and azenia's dont really like the cold, i know mine dont..he said he wouldve done better if he just rolled it off the line..but if he was on slicks i think he wouldve hit a 12.6 or 12.7..
