yes its out....motor trend had the test with the mazda 6, nissan altima se, and the jetta vr6. mazda won, nissan was second.

I'd take the supra if given the cash but I'd buy a TDI in a heartbeat if I could just sell my Impreza RS. Something about 40-50 mpg makes me happy. Plus have you seen a TDI that can shear axles because of the torque it puts down...didn't think so but I have

heck ya, the tdi CAN be a HUGE torque monster! and getting 50+ miles to the gallon isnt a bad thing either

 

motor trends test course is down hill.....its not very accurate
