SLOW: 350 4 Bolt main preferably, but overall even the 2 bolt 350's there is a TON of support for.
silver232: Well TPI was just the type of efi on the camaro's USUALLY the camaro's in the mid 80's came with TBI (Throttle Body Injection), which essentially was 4 injectors shoved in a quadrajet carb, then later on TPI (Tune Port Injection) became the standard system on most of the V8 models which was similar to most modern MPFI systems. I would look for the TPI variety first and they are easy to tell apart as the TBI looks like it is carbuetted (it almost is) and the TPI looks like a standard MPFI system like on modern cars...

I dont think there is any point in buying a V6 4th gen and throwing a 350 in it - insurance on a 1995 Fbody v8 is NOT much, it's still an old car.
V6's go for 3-4k.
LT1's go for 4-8k.

my uncle told me a semingly awesome setup at work today. and old old old nissan/datsun 300zx ( he said the ones that look like datsun 280's) with a lt1 in it. that would be sick.
