dont know about 264 but on 64w closer to williamsburg i can be doing 75 and people fly by me. 83 isnt an outrageously odd number, but it is to fast, we aren't saying we don't do it, but you can't tell the judge its ok because everyone else does it.

took me three tickets and an entire summer of no driving to figure out that i shouldn't speed.

I think the timeslip could possibly help, you could explain that you only take the car to the track and that would prove that. And that you were only speeding to get home, not racing.

 

BTW, you'll probably get a fine, 6 month suspended lic. since it was your 1st offense, and driving school. Maybe 20 hrs comm. serv.
