Yes but we never drive with just dry weight.

I ran my bone stock 02 Firehawk A4 in 90 Degree weather and she ran a 13.4 all day. Then I put on a Loudmouth and ran again in the same weather several weeks later and ran 13.1's all day. I hate to burst a lot of the LS1'ers bubbles but a 12.9 in a stock LS1 Fbody is almost as rare as seeing the Loch Ness monster.

Thats what I was thinking, 12.9......... don't see it happening STOCK! Kinda like a BONE STOCK GT Mustang running 13.7. Very rare.... more like a 13.9

MSRP and "what your going to pay" are two very seperate things. Back when '99 to '04 GTs weren't over shadowed by the new '05. A premium package coupe GT would run you about 26,000. (window sticker) Now there are rebates, and military dicounts etc. and people can pick up GT's significantly less. But sorry, 33K, out the door for a coupe SVT Cobra...... I don't think so. 35 for a coupe, about 40 for a 'vert. You'll spend damn near 31k for a Mach 1.

Theres a kit forsale that costs $960 that bumps the HP up to 500WHP for the cobra that just constists of a pully, exhuast, MAS, and CAI (I know b/c my brother has it on his 03' Cobra). So I imagine it would only take a couple hundred more to get another 40HP+ out of throttle body, headers, and X pipe.

Just for you I started this, http://www.fordpower.net/forums/showthread.php?t=92582

No one with an 03 Cobra has posted up yet, but I garuntee you no one paid over 35k for a coupe. But as you can see, you can get a Mach for less than 25k. You just have to have some common sense.

So people got deals, there are A LOT of deals out there because the '05 is on the verge of being released. The same thing goes for the 'vette right now too. No one wants a older body style 'stang or 'vette with the C6 and the DEW98 coming out. If you asked that same question a year or more ago, what I said would be 100% correct. The window sticker price will still say appx. 35k for a Cobra coupe, 40k for a 'vert, 29-30K for a Mach 1. Shit, you can pay 31k for a COMPLETELY loaded GT, today. I wish I had a scanner. I'd show you the window sticker for my car that says 26,000 back in '02. I'm talking sticker price, not what happens after a bunch of rebates, military discounts, 0 percent financing etc. and shit. So ya' you can get Mustangs cheaper this year, but a few years ago. No.....

If you pay window sticker for a car you are retarded. We are both right to a point, I think verts actually sticker for 36 or 37? I could be wrong, either way, the car kicks some serious ass.

The current Vette issue is the C5 Z06 owners who buy a car just because it has more "horsepower" than another are pissed because the C6 Coupe out performs it in most every category

Sticker on my car was 20,689 and we got it for 17,150. Once you mention cash, their eyes light up like a kid on Christmas morning
