So with a SOHC Turbo you can expect around 200-ish HP and a 14-ish sec. 1/4 mile? Why not just drop in a H22 and get the same numbers? It'd be way more reliable since it's stock and still have alot of room for improvements.

 

yeah but this is daily driven and i could care less about the all motor thing right now ...here is my plan drive the boosted 4 door daily with the SOHC...and on the side im gonna fully build an LS then just buy a diff. manifold and i will have a fully built LS boosted on like 14 pounds daily ..lol ....ohh and the reason i dont care too much about all that bigger WHP right now is im probly loosing my license so this car will only be going to the track most likely

 

My SOHC Civic boosted 10psi back up by Hondata 3B with port match manifold and APEXi N1 exhaust. Still wasnt enough power for me. I barley kept up with Tegurit GS-R. His was All-Motor.

 

i <3 the SOHC...oooh and guess what people, itll be up by next saturday.


Anyways..i picked SOHC because not many people build the fuck out of a single cam...and thats what i was going to do.

So...approx $4000 later i have a fully built engine that doesnt run.

quick question for u all ...if i get it properly tuned how much boost can it handle safely daily ...and at track .. its a sohc vtec ..

 

11psi, maybe 12psi if you have Hondata 3B to manage it and a 2.5" Full exhaust system.
