You have to pay to play. I would think before you got into the hobby you would have to consider the possability that you may break somthing and have to foot the bill yourself because the part did not break under normal driving conditions.

It would be like saying.. why have speeding tickets right?? I mean, they make these cars capeable of traveling up to 130-140-150mph.. so is it my fault that i was traveling 150mph in a 55? Why do they make cars that travel that fast if it's against the law to speed??

Its part of freedom we have to deal with. We have a choice and it's up to us to make that choice and live with the concequences. If someone tells you, if you abuse this... this could happen. And you decide to take that risk, its your responsability.

Using a car to break the law and using a car for what it was designed to be used for are 2 seperate scenarios.

If I was cruising at 150mph in my brand new car and got a ticket, that's my fault. If I was cruising at 150mph in my brand new car and blew a rod out, that's a warranty issue.

Oh, to answer your first question, yes I name all of my cars...it gives that close personal relation. I take better care of my cars than I do my women...ask ANY of my friends. Car first...hands, ass, fingerprints, hair, makeup, no drive thru (unless it's consumed at the house), smoking (and I'm a smoker), no leaning ( all you bastards in the garage know 6" away....you're all house trained). I fall in love with a car and get that car and take care of it like it was my own first born. It's therapy for Christ's sake. "Monica" was named after Monica Belluci, otherwise known as Persephone from "Matrix Reloaded" and "Revolutions". I won't get into how FUCKING HOT she is. Persephone was my Lion fish who went belly up after hurricane Isabelle hit and no power for 6 days. Trinity was my MR2 Spyder, Snow White was my Tercel....dude didn't you see "Gone in 60 Seconds"? I was naming my cars before that came out. What kind of a car do you have? Maybe I can help you out my friend. And it was nice to meet you too. As for Brian....did you name YOUR bitch yet? I'll place my chips on "no".

That's so fucking gay. What's the point in making a car fast as hell from the factory if your going to punish the person for driving it like it was made to be driven???

What's even worse is targeting any autoX, where the top speed is going to be less than most public roads.

Foreal. I mean, what the fuck do these auto-manufacturing companies think we're going to do w/ these cars? If you're going to void the warranty, how about you just don't make cars so damn fast from the factory?!?
