I am one of the largest supporters of law enforcement you'll ever come across. But if I get written for something I didn't do, and the cop makes it a heinous offense like that... I won't stop until he's unemployed.

i believe the camera runs all the time

I met with my lawyer today. He informed me that va beach doesn't run cameras. They also do not have to show you any radar. He also said that the police are almost always rude when someone doesn't sign the ticket instantly and I can't do anything about it. It will be his word against mine and nine times out of ten the judge will believe him since they work together on a daily basis. The only thing I have going for me is that my friend will testify for me. He expects that they will knock the ticket down, but will not drop it. As there is no way the officer will admit any fault in the court room as it would make him look bad. Which really sucks, but makes perfect sence to me. We are going to check to see if the radar has been cal properly. I was also informed that almost always in va beach the radar is cal as required. That doesn't mean the officer used it though. Too bad I can't really prove that.

Good luck bro. They might knock it down. Same thing happened to me. He clocked some other car and pulled us over. I tell him that wasn't us, he tells me to shut the fuck up or he will take me to jail, and I wasn't the one driving. What assholes. Good luck.

Get a lawyer but if the judge isn't nice your screwed cause some judges can be real dicks. But yeah if he didn't let you see radar then he doesn't have proof on you. Cause your allowed to see the radar before admitting to going eighty in a 50 mph zone.
