3) improperly built lsvtec setups (such as the one listed above) usually blow up when remaining all-motor, and you expect him to turbo it? haha

that about sums it up. like i said, if you need any info on what will fit into a crx, just send me a pm. i can give you basic prices as to what each would cost PROPERLY installed, as well as explain to you why you arent going to have an AWD 46g3 twin turbo carburated crx.

how the hell is he going to blow up this setup trying to make 200hp, were not trying to win a land speed record here. and when did i say to leave the block as is, naturally youre going to lower the compression, i though people would take that for granted, maybe i should also mention you will use these things called tools to pull this off too. jeez, other peoples kids.

lower the compression/strengthening the block usually involves sleeving, rods, pistons, rings, etc... in order to do these such things, you wouldnt leave the block as is.

btw, if you have to turbo an ls vtec setup to make 200hp, youve got a problem.

For 6 grand this is what I would do. Get a complete ls motor swap, and get it swapped in. That should be like 3000. Then get a nice complete aftermarket turbo kit like revhard or something like that, and custom 3in exhaust. Limit ther boost to 8psi and have a reliable car that makes at least 230 whp. If you want more power in the future you always have the option of getting a nice set of pistons and rods, sleeve the engine, upgrading the fuel system, upping the boost etc etc..
However, youve got a TON to learn so before you spend a penny do a lot of research on forums like this one and Honda-tech. Good luck
