Where do y'all chill at ?
....... well, i've been taking it to 8600rpm ... 40000 miles worth. No problem yet.
K motors are built for all-motor setup. You can easily net 240whp with cams/boltons and proper fuel management.

well actually h series motors dont mind high rpm's when built either but there seems to be some problem with the bearing clearance in k motors that does not supply enough lubrication at such a high rpm and have a tendancy to do stupid shit
if someone has to spend $20,000 for a motor build just to rev to 9000+ on a $20,000 car they're moronic, You really wont produce that much more power on a 300 rpm difference. And I dont even think their trannys could handle that high of revs!!Just my .02

$2,350 to be exact, but $1850 for me
Insert from Toda's ..... "The TODA N2 ECU program uses special fuel and ignition timing maps, 9000rpm redline, modified VVT camshaft timing (cam gears are not necessary), and two throttle input dependant VTEC Activation..."
